Bringing Food to School
Beginning the 2011-2012 school year "Food distributed to students during the school day MUST BE PREPACKAGED, ie individually wrapped items or in a sealed pacage (box or bag). Safe and healthy snack ideas could include, but are not limited to: individually sealed chees sticks, crackers, graham crackers, goldfish crackers, Ritz Bitz, Chex Mix, yogurt tubes, pretzels, animal crackers, fruit snacks, fresh fruit or vegetables." If you have any questions please contact a teacher or the middle school office.
Lunch Bunch - Sack Lunches
Starting when a student earns a Lunch Bunch, the student will be provided a sack lunch from the school at the student's expense. The sack lunch will meet all the nutritional requirements as mandated by the state of Iowa. Students are welcome to bring their own sack lunch in which case they will not be charged for the school sack lunch.
Maps to help your student study for the geography map tests.
There are many great web sites to assist your student with studying for their map tests. One site is below. This site has a variety of maps for various regions of the world.
Check out the Earth Science file folder on the "Class Files" section of this web page.
Simply click on the file folder and then click on the file you wish to download. A window may pop-up asking you whether you want to open or save the file. Save the file to your desktop and then open the file from your desktop.
Any worksheet assignment the Earth Science students are given will be found in this folder or a subfolder within this folder.
